Cisco is the world's leading Internet equipment supplier. It provides a wide range of professional technical support in the industry, such as network hardware, Internet Operating System (IOS), network design and implementation, and also provides global authoritative network solutions. In China, Cisco's equipment is distributed throughout China Mobile, China Telecom, various levels of government, large IT enterprises, and small and medium-sized enterprises. Cisco has launched a series of certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, etc. based on its product type and required technical level.

In order to meet the needs of professional engineers for the rapid development of the Internet, CISCO SYSTEM INC set up a series of courses for Cisco certified Internet engineers from elementary to advanced in 1993, CCNA is a primary certification, while there are also advanced certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, CCNP Specialization, CCDP Specialization, and CCIE Advanced Certification. The entire certification system is mainly dedicated to two directions: network maintenance and network design.

The Cisco certification system offers three general certification levels, representing a progressively higher level of expertise: Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Expert (CCIE). In these levels, different development paths correspond to different career needs. Cisco also offers various specialized Cisco Certified Professional certifications to assess knowledge in specific technologies, solutions, or professional roles.

The Cisco certification system is divided into different technical fields. Currently, the commonly used certification exams are CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Engineer), CCNP (Cisco Certified Senior Network Engineer), and CCIE (Cisco Certified Network Expert). In the entire Cisco certification system, CCIE is recognized as a high-level certification exam that is difficult and has a very small number of successful candidates. Most Cisco certification exams are written exams, only CCIE includes both written and laboratory exams.

In today's society where the internet has penetrated every cell, the enormous changes brought about by the internet are also impacting the business models of all enterprises. For example, a user may choose another bank simply because the access speed of one online bank is a few seconds slower. Today, for enterprises, the internet is no longer just a platform for publishing information and a channel for placing orders. Today's internet almost undertakes all key links related to business, such as transactions, information sharing, process management, market monitoring, strategic decision-making, etc. The internet is no longer just an auxiliary role in business operations, but has become the core driving force for business development and gaining competitive advantages.
