Business requirements

With the rapid development of industry informatization, business and applications rely entirely on computer networks and computer terminals. However, computer viruses, hacker trojans, entering desktop computers, installing illegal software on computers, accessing networks from foreign computers, and unauthorized dial-up internet access can easily lead to the paralysis of desktop computers and computer network systems.

Due to the large number of devices, dispersed geographical locations, and complex user identities of devices accessing the network, security management is extremely difficult at Fudan University Affiliated Zhongshan Hospital Xiamen Hospital, posing a significant threat and risk to the normal operation of the hospital's network.


Solution

By deploying a network access control and terminal security management system, the following functions can be achieved:

Automatic device discovery, statistics of terminal device information across the entire network, and generation of network topology diagram;

Automatically identify the type of medical equipment, and immediately disconnect the device if its characteristics change after it is connected to the network;

Require office terminals to install a secure client (Agent) before connecting to wired or wired networks;

Standardize the management of mobile storage devices, only allow the use of authorized mobile storage devices, and audit all file operations on mobile storage devices. Unauthorized or external mobile storage devices are prohibited;

Secure the terminal and standardize its management.
